The Great Northern offers more than 50 events within 10 days. Our new passes will help you curate your ideal festival experience. Once you have an idea of what you’re interested in attending, there are two options: Quick Buy and Build Your Pass. 

Quick Buy
This option allows you to quickly purchase a single festival pass for a single event. “Quick Buy” buttons can be found at the top of each event page or on the “All Events” page under each listing. Once you’ve clicked the button, your “Festival Pass Type” will be automatically selected based on the event you choose. Click “continue” to proceed to add the event to your pass and fill out your information. To purchase festival passes for multiple people, repeat the process for each person in your party.

Build Your Pass
If you’d like to experience multiple events during the festival, choose this option. To begin, click “Build Your Pass” in the navigation bar (top right). Next, choose your “Festival Pass Type” (Climate Champion, Warm Up to Winter, or Festival VIP). Read each pass description and choose the one that best describes your interests! Once you’ve chosen your “Festival Pass Type,” you’ll be led through a series of steps to add optional packages and individual events to your pass. 

Add a Package & Save
Festival packages are an optional offering that get you discounted prices on select events. If you choose a package, the next series of pages will instruct you on which events are included in your package (see the “selection tracker” section below). Add the events you would like to attend that are included in your package within each event category. 

If you choose the “no package” option, you will be led through a series of pages that display events by category. Select the events you’d like to add to your Festival Pass. If you are not interested in a particular category of events, click “continue” to proceed to the next page or step. You can also go “back” to edit your selections.

Selection Tracker
During your registration process, a “selection” area will appear on the right side of the screen to help you keep track of which events you choose. It will also remind you of which events are included within your Festival Package so you don’t forget to add those (i.e. “Choose a Chill Out: The Great Northern Launch Party”).
